- 羅素大學集團成員， University of Leeds 在 2018 年晉身英國大學排名首十位，在學術研究、教學質素和就業率都有優勝表現。調查亦多次顯示大學是最受英國僱主歡迎的十所大學之一。學科強項包括會計及金融、商科、經濟學、工程系、社會學及傳理系等。歌手張國榮回港發展前亦就讀於此。
- 會計及金融：課程獲多個領先機構的三重認證(triple accreditation): AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS，全球僅有1%商學院獲此殊榮。也是歐洲最大的會計師公會英格蘭及威爾斯特許會計師公會ICEAW認證課程，和香港會計師公會（HKICPA）有會員互認機制，只要您成為其中一個行業協會的會計師，就可以在另外一個地方執業。可選擇額外一年參加實習或者去University of Leeds其他國家的合作院校交換一年。由大學一年級開始，商學院就業團隊就會進行一對一就業指導、開展講座和就業活動等。
- 工程: University of Leeds工程專業開設廣泛的課程包括土木工程、建築工程、機械工程、汽車工程、化學工程、醫學工程、航空航天工程等，其中土木工程科世界排名Top 50。旗下有分支科系例如土木工程與環境工程、項目、交通、結構工程等(Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering/Project Management/Transport/Structural Engineering)。課程獲英國工程委員會監管機構Joint Board of Moderators認可多項專業資格，包括英國土木工程師學會（Institution of Civil Engineers - ICE）Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE)等，培養畢業生成語chartered engineer（特許工程師）。
- 傳媒(Communication and Media)：世界排名#22，英國排名#6足以可見University of Leeds傳媒專業的領先地位。大學與行業內擁有緊密的聯繫，學生可以參加為期4星期或額外一年的實習。注重實操經驗，除了擁有數字媒體實驗室配備最新的剪輯&媒體製作軟件外，還有廣播演播室、TV演播室、綠屏區、可容納58人高清電影院每星期放電影2次，以及其他錄音設備、視頻製作設備等。
