政治學：Aberystwyth University 國際政治學部（Department of International Politics）成立至今有過百年歷史，是全球歷史最悠久的國際政治學部門。在 Aberystwyth University 修讀政治及國際關係的學生可參加大學的國會實習計劃（Parliamentary Placement Scheme）。學生在暑假期間，於英國國會或威爾斯議會參加為期 4-6 星期的實習，協助議員處理日常工作，參與工作報告和演辭撰寫工作、進行資料搜集及政策研究，以及其他選區工作等！ 自 1872 年成立以來，Aberystwyth University 孕育了不少當地的政治人才及學者，查理斯王子（Prince Charles）在劍橋大學讀書期間，亦曾於 Aberystwyth University 修讀一個學期的威爾斯文及歷史，相關課程有：
